The General Health - Basic Lab Panel panel contains 5 tests with 31 biomarkers .
Brief Description: The General Health - Basic Lab panel is designed to provide a foundational assessment of an individual's health status, focusing on key indicators of metabolic function, blood health, lipid metabolism, and thyroid function. This panel is suitable for those seeking a general health check-up or baseline assessment.
Collection Method: Blood Draw
Specimen: 4 mL Whole Blood and 4 mL Serum
Test Preparation: Sample should be collected in the morning while in a fasting state. Fasting is no food or drinks other than water for at least 9 hours before collection.
External Test Interference: If you've had a fluorescein dye test (such as for an eye exam), wait at least 3 days before having your TSH test drawn. If you are on hemodialysis, wait 2 weeks. Fluorescein can cause falsely low TSH results.
